61- Greetings from Southern Australia

Thanks much for praying for the Southern Australia Assembly as we have been watching God at work. The insight and God ordained challenge of Dr. Middendorf is exactly what we need! 

Another Cyclone (”FUNA”) is threatening as it just developed and is between the islands of Vanuatu and Fiji, so please pray for it to stay away from either group of islands. We received word from Potters on Vanuatu that at this point they are not feeling the effects of it so we pray that it holds to it’s current forecasted track.

60- Solomons — God hears

Greetings from the Solomon Islands! Your prayers have been heard and the meetings with the assembly has been a time of God pouring out His Spirit and setting His people on FIRE! The testimonies and stories have been at times shocking! For one man and woman, this was their first time to civilization. The church provided clothes for them as they had none. They told of sacrificing pigs to Satan as a way of life and a life of bondage that would cause you to sob… and then the process of meeting the One who came to set the captives FREE!! and when you are free - you are free indeed!! “If I still worshiped Satan, I would have died last night.” the one man said. “Last night here at this assembly meetings was the first time in my life that I have ever slept under the same roof as women, this is the first time I have ever eaten with woman and children and even eaten what women have cooked - God has set me free!” To watch them worship our LORD was worth more than diamonds and gold. Continue to pray for George and Nancy Miller as God continues to march forward with His Kingdom in the Solomon Islands.

Pray also for me as we go to the Australia Assembly this week and the Papua New Guinea combined Assembly next week.

59- Pray for Solomon Islands

I am heading over to Solomon Islands in a few days to be there for their District Assembly. Please be in specific prayer for our work there as the enemy is fighting hard! This is no casual war! Pray for George and Nancy Miller, our missionaries over the work in those islands. Over the last few days Nancy has buried her father, they have just returned from furlough following an exhausting but awesome schedule, George has suffered physically with an infection in one of his legs that has gotten worse, Nancy hurt one of her arms, the rains have washed away the road to our property where the assembly is scheduled to happen starting Tuesday (no way in, no way out) and the list actually goes on and gets worse…    but we know that OUR GOD REIGNS and the enemy has long been defeated!!  One reason that the enemy is angry is that what God has been doing in the Solomon Islands through the Church of the Nazarene has been incredible - souls are being won - the Kingdom is been marching forward like never before!
